Bad weather has shut down schools, roads, airports and bus services across England and almost half the British workforce was reported to be snowbound. Forecasters predicted the bitter cold would continue for days. While they said little more snow would fall, they warned the low temperatures could cause dangerously icy conditions. St. Louis Workplace Shooting - 5 Dead by Disgruntled Worker
Jan. 07, 2010 - St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. - Paramedics wheel out an unidentfied man who was injured after Timothy Hendrin, 51, a disgruntled worker, entered the ABB Company began shooting. Hendrin, who once was a supervisor at the company that makes transformers, reported at 6:30 AM for his regular shift and began shooting. Eight people were wounded and five are dead including the gunman. Economy may have played role in workplace violence.
